I am an old fashioned artist with contemporary values. I create light whimsical designs using the organic sensibility of classic Persian pattern-making with South African flora and fauna as inspiration. I believe in preserving the quality of my materials, usually watercolour painting, through very little computer manipulation while taking advantage of technology to make this work widely available through various methods of reproductive printing. I make products which are brightly informative and lightly educational while functioning as decoration.
